About me

A emotional poetic spirit, a artist. Now in service of Mother Nature.Working in a movement which originates from deep compassion , concern and empathy for Nature, society and my ecological heritage. It is KVM -The Movement for Natural Farming and Ecological Restoration of Punjab based at Jaitu,Faridkod. Ecological Spiritualism is my religion as I always say God is omni present in entire nature and hurting nature is violence against the God . One should see the divine in fields and farms . Isopanishad says "Esavasyamidam Sarvam Yatkinchit jagatyam jagat, thena tyaktena bhunjeetha magrudh kasya swiddhanam" , which means that whatever we see and feel around us, material or spiritual, belongs to the Divine. So we have to share it according to the Divine Law. This develops a holistic consensus globally for the consumption of the available resources and their distribution and availability to the mankind. We as nations or as individuals are the trustees of the possessions that God has given us.

Here on the west coast of Canada, we hear a lot about harmful agricultural practices used in Punjab over the past 25 years that have harmed the soil, the availability of traditional seed varieties and ultimately the farmers and their families. It's great to read about the work of Kheti Virasat and people like you. Keep up the good work. I am forwarding information from your site to colleages in Assam where I have been working on a voluntary basis to promote respect for the soil and traditions. We are lucky that the agri-cultural roots of India are very deep and very strong.
